Yasmin Wirjawan

Biography
Yasmin Wirjawan joins the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (APARC) as a visiting scholar during the 2024-2025 academic year. She currently serves as advisor to Ancora Group and Sweef Capital, and heads the Ancora Foundation. She has over 20 years of leadership experience on corporate and nonprofit boards in the finance, technology, entrepreneurship, and education sectors. While at APARC, she will be conducting research on women’s economic participation and resilience to climate change in the Asia-Pacific, including Indonesia.
Wirjawan holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation and a Master of Science in Management and Systems from New York University. She also earned a Master of Science in Finance from Brandeis University.
