Huixia Wang joins the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (APARC) as a visiting scholar beginning winter quarter of 2024 for the year. She is currently Associate Professor of Economics at Hunan University. While at APARC, she will be conducting research examining the effects of air pollution on healthcare expenditure and children's health in China.
