Heather Ahn is program manager for the Korea Program at the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (Shorenstein APARC). Before joining Shorenstein APARC, she worked in the computer industry, primarily in system software development. She was a software engineer (MTS) at Bell Labs, and worked as a liaison for Korean high-tech companies in the United States. She received a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota. Her graduate studies concentrated on information management systems.
