Stanford University seeks candidates for a senior faculty position whose teaching and research are focused on contemporary Japan. The position may be either a freestanding appointment as a senior fellow in the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI), or a jointly held position between FSI and an academic department in the social sciences, or with either the School of Education or of Law.
