Biography

Irene Kyoung is currently a Research Associate for the Korea Program at APARC. Irene supports research projects regarding Korean politics and society, Nationalism and Racism in Asia, and the ongoing Talent Flows project. Previously, she worked as the Policy Associate at The Korea Society. Irene received a Master of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from Columbia University and graduated with honors in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College. Her hobbies include writing, playing the piano, and traveling. She is also fluent in Korean.
