Takuya Tsunoda

Takuya Tsunoda is a global affiliate visiting scholar at the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (Shorenstein APARC) for 2025-26. Tsunoda has over 20 years of experience with the Development Bank of Japan (investment bank fully owned by the Japanese Ministry of Finance) and has acquired a comprehensive knowledge and skills in corporate finance, capital markets, credit portfolio management, and business operations design (including information technology). Tsunoda earned his Bachelor of Law from Keio University in 2004. While at APARC, he will be conducting research on how to boost Japanese firm's competitiveness via digital technology and education.
