Mago Nagasaka

Shingo "Mago" Nagasaka is a global affiliate visiting scholar at the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (Shorenstein APARC) for 2026-27. Mago is a Japanese contemporary artist and social entrepreneur. Through his concept of "Sustainable Capitalism", he transforms discarded materials, including e-waste from Ghana, into work while reinvesting proceeds into social and environmental initiatives. His work bridges art, business, and sustainability, with the goal of creating a more sustainable and inclusive future.
