On May 10, Corporate Affiliates Visiting Fellows had the opportunity to visit Aruba Networks, a leading provider of next-generation network access solutions for the mobile enterprise. Our visit to the Executive Briefing Center located in Sunnyvale provided us with insight into what sets Aruba Networks apart from its competitors.
Upon entering, we were greeted with a prominently displayed message: “People move. Networks must follow.” Recognizing that your “workspace” can mean anything from a traditional office to the local coffee shop to waiting in line at the market, Aruba Networks provides solutions to keep you connected in the most efficient and highly secure way possible. We also experienced demonstrations featuring Aruba Networks solutions in real-world situations such as classrooms and hospitals.
Our host, Jay Robinson, head of learning and development, gave us a better understanding of the company, including its culture, mission and vision. Through the five main values of customer success, innovation, communication, integrity and passion, much of the success of Aruba Networks is based on interaction with its customers. This is evident through things like the Airheads interactive community, where anyone can come and engage directly with the company.
