We sponsor a postdoctoral fellowship program, teach undergraduate and graduate student courses, and mentor students and emerging scholars who gain invaluable research experience as they advance their own projects and get involved in our research initiatives.
Our Education and Training Offerings

Postdoctoral Fellowship
Awarded annually to a recent PhD undertaking original research on contemporary health or healthcare policy of high relevance to the Asia-Pacific region.

Visiting Scholar Residency
We host experts on issues related to health and health policy in the Asia-Pacific region who join us for periods of collaborative research at Stanford.

Stanford Courses
Each year our faculty teach Stanford undergraduate- and graduate-level courses, and mentor students through internships and other educational opportunities.

AHPP’s parent organization, the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center, provides multiple fellowship and training opportunities to students, young scholars, faculty, and professionals working on contemporary Asia and Asia-related policy challenges.
